Acceltra Stats And Features
Acceltra Builds
Gauss' signature assault rifle is arguably one of Warframe's strongest non-Incarnon weapons. With the right build, this weapon can fire dozens of micro-rockets that obliterate targets with powerful Slash procs and upfront damage.

The standard Acceltra is a great weapon on its own, if a bit difficult to get. But thanks to the Acceltra Prime, now most players can get their hands on Gauss' amazing assault rifle without much hassle. This guide will explain how to get the Acceltra and its Prime variant, cover the stats of each variant, and showcase some amazing builds that range from inexpensive to Steel Path viable.
How To Obtain Every Acceltra Variant
The Acceltra's crafting blueprint may be obtained from slain Demolishers on Ur, Uranus. This is a Dark Sector Disruption node that houses Infested enemies. Upon activating a conduit, an Infested Demolisher will spawn and attempt to destroy the objective. You must kill the Demolisher before it reaches the conduit to receive any rewards.
The blueprint has a 1.25% drop chance. It cannot be traded.
Thankfully, the Acceltra Prime is much easier to obtain. All Acceltra Prime components may be obtained from Void Relics. Certain Relics will have a chance of dropping a specific Acceltra Prime component. There are four components required to craft the weapon, as shown in the crafting table below. All Acceltra Prime components may be traded with other players.

The Acceltra is a fully automatic assault rifle that fires micro-rockets. The micro-rockets are armed to explode after traveling seven meters. If you shoot them any closer, there will be no explosion. Try to stay at medium distances while firing this weapon to ensure that all of your rounds explode. The explosion is somewhat small at four meters, but this can be increased with certain mods.
Unique Trait
The Acceltra and its Prime variant reload 25% faster while your Warframe is sprinting. If you are playing Gauss, this bonus is doubled.
As for its stats, the Acceltra is biased towards Hunter Munitions builds. It features a high critical chance, fast fire rate, and enough status chance to occasionally proc Viral status. This also helps the Acceltra bypass enemy armor. For Star Chart content, this weapon's raw damage output is more than good enough to kill most enemies. As for Steel Path content, you'll need to rely on Hunter Munitions to kill targets.

The Acceltra Prime is an upgraded version of the standard Acceltra, sacrificing fire rate for much higher base damage, triple status chance, and slightly higher critical stats. It also reloads faster, pairing nicely with the gun's intrinsic reload speed bonus while sprinting.
As with the base variant, the Acceltra Prime is ideal for Hunter Munitions builds. The higher status chance makes it much easier to inflict Viral status on hostiles, greatly improving your Slash status damage. The slight buff to its critical chance (32% to 34%) also means this weapon will always be a critical hit if you install the Critical Delay mod.

Acceltra Builds
We will be looking at two builds for the Acceltra, showcasing optimal build setups with zero Forma and with an endgame build. None of the builds listed require Riven Mods or Archon Shards to work, but feel free to add these elements to your own build.
Acceltra Riven Mods
The Acceltra and its Primed variant have a 1/5 Riven Disposition, the lowest a Riven can achieve. Only well-rolled Rivens will have a noticeable impact on either weapon.
If you happen to get an Acceltra Riven, you ideally want Critical Chance, Critical Damage, and Multishot or elemental damage modifiers.
Starter Build (Acceltra, 0 Forma)
Forma | |
---|---|
Variant | Acceltra |
This starter build for the Acceltra focuses on improving its critical chance and critical damage while using its innate dash polarity to add some much-needed elemental damage. We start by using Serration and Split Chamber to buff the weapon's base damage and multishot, respectively.
For the critical stats, we equip Critical Delay to scale the weapon's critical chance to 96%. That makes the weapon almost always crit, so scaling critical damage through Vital Sense is a great idea.
The last two mods we use are Malignant Force and Stormbringer to create Corrosive damage. This has a massive damage bonus against most Grineer and Infested units, making this a great pick for all Star Chart content and short Arbitration runs.
Hunter Munitions Build (Acceltra Prime, 5 Forma)
Forma | 5 (3V, D, –) |
---|---|
Variant | Acceltra Prime |
Despite the weapon's high damage, the Acceltra Prime's biggest issue is dealing with armored targets. Thankfully, the weapon's critical stats and high fire rate make it perfect for Hunter Munitions. This is a mod that gives critical hits a 30% chance to inflict a Slash status effect. Slash procs bypass armor, allowing the Acceltra to comfortably fight Steel Path Grineer and Corrupted units.
We can scale those Slash procs through base damage, critical damage, and faction damage mods. We scale our base damage through Primary Merciless, although feel free to use Deadhead or Dexterity instead. Critical Delay will make every shot critically hit, and Vital Sense will scale the Acceltra's critical damage.
Primary Merciless, Deadhead, and Dexterity all provide the same damage increase. Feel free to use any of them for this build.
Critical Delay does reduce your weapon's fire rate slightly, so we suggest using Vile Acceleration to buff the weapon's fire rate. Galvanized Chamber is also a great pick, increasing the weapon's multishot. Each shot can proc Hunter Munitions, so this is a massive DPS increase.
For your elemental combo, you can't top Viral. Viral status grants increased damage to a target's health pool, up to +325% at ten stacks. Viral procs affect Slash procs, so your bleed damage will be substantially increased. Throw on Primed Cryo Rounds and Malignant Force to greatly improve your damage.
Finally, we highly recommend using a Primed Bane Mod in the last mod slot. While tedious to manage, bane mods double-dip with Slash procs, offering a far greater damage multiplier than any other mod. Throw on Vigilante Armaments in the Exilus slot to give this weapon some much-needed ammo sustain.
